For Advanced Students Only. ART EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. Step One: Pick a start day for your Senior Kids Class. Step Two: Enrol in 10 classes on dates of your preference over 12 weeks. (Please see Weekly Class Availability below.) Step Three: Attend classes on your chosen dates. This is a mixed-media painting course. Each student may select a combination of media to develop their skills in this course. Examples of media include watercolours, coloured pencils, oil pastels, and pastels. Each student may select their subjects. Examples include landscapes, animals, portraits, still life, illustration, and abstract art. Students will learn to use art skills and theory in their creations. This course will also train students in portfolio management and teach students how to enter art competitions and exhibitions regionally and nationally. The teacher, Joy Tan, is a well-trained professional artist with over 15 years of teaching experience in painting and drawing. She has a unique teaching and training method for the progress of all students. Past students' works have been winners and finalists of the prestigious Young Archie Competition. All art materials are included in this course.
